Yankees’ Aaron Judge hits 115-mph HR for 27th

CHICAGO — After absorbing jeers from fans in the right-field bleachers at Guaranteed Rate Field through the first five innings on Wednesday evening, Aaron Judge silenced Personalized 49ers Jersey those voices with one very loud swing in the Yankees’ 12-3 win.

Judge crushed his Major League-leading 27th home run, a two-run b Personalized Nationals Jersey last in the sixth inning off White Sox reliever Jake Petricka, that came off the bat at 115.2 mph and cleared the left-field wall in just 3.9 seconds.

As Judge rounded the bases, he shot a glance to his would-be tormentors beyond the wall. They responded by applauding when Judge returned to the outfield to warm up at the beginning of the next half-inning.

“I just like having some fun with the fans,” Judge said. “They were heckling me pretty good out there. I’m not going to say anything to them, I just gave them a little peek when I was rounding the bases. Just having some fun with them. They were razzing me when I got back out there. It was pretty cool.”

Judge is the first player with six home runs of 115-plus mph in a single season since the Statcast™ technology was implemented in 2015. The Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton had five such homers in 2015 and ’16.

With the All-Star break still more than a week away, Judge already has the most home runs of 110-plus mph in a single season, with 16. Stanton had 15 such homers in 2015.

The 15-degree launch angle on Judge’s homer was tied for the lowest on a homer this season, and he did it once before, on June 11 against Baltimore, making him the only player to do it twice this season. The others are teammate Gary Sanchez,
Men’s Nike Custom Made San Francisco 49ers Elite Red Team Color NFL Jersey for Sale the Orioles’ Manny Machado and the Blue Jays’ Justin Smoak.

Judge has often said he does not pay attention to the noise coming from the stands, even stating that he did not notice the loud chants of “M-V-P!” that accompanied him during the team’s recent visit to Anaheim.

While acknowledging that he heard some of the less positive feedback on Custom 49ers Jersey Wednesday, Judge said he was satisfied to let his bat handle the response.

“You just let your actions speak for itself,” Judge said. “You don’t need to go out there and say anything to them and rile them up even more. I felt like if I would have turned around and said anything to them, it would have gotten worse. I just wanted to go out there and play my game and see what happens.”

Matt Holliday on DL,Personalized 49ers Jersey Miguel Andujar promoted

CHICAGO — The Yankees placed Matt Holliday on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday with what they describe as a viral infection, sending the designated hitter back to New York for further testing as they hope to determine the cause of his continued issues.

“We’re not seeing much improvement,” manager Joe Girardi said of Holliday. “I think our biggest concern is with the fatigue factor and him not eating a lot. Even if he did start to feel better, it’s going to take three or four days to get his strengt Men’s Washington Nationals Custom Majestic Alternate Scarlet Flex Base Authentic Red Jersey back. You start to add that all up, you’re looking at 10 days.”

In a corresponding move, the Yankees recalled infielder Miguel Andujar from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. New York’s No. 9 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com, Andujar went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and a stolen base in his Major League debut as the designated hitter in Wednesday’s 12-3 win over the White Sox.

Girardi said of Holliday that the Yankees’ doctors have ruled out mononucleosis, but the actual illness remains a mystery. Holliday, 37, has not played since Saturday and started experiencing symptoms on June 17 in Oakland, believing at the time that it was an allergic reaction to a meal.

“I feel great to be here with all my teammates and with the team that signed me, the team that gave me an opportunity to come up and be here,” Andujar said
Men’s Nike Custom Made San Francisco 49ers Elite Red Team Color NFL Jersey for Sale through an interpreter before the game. “It’s special.”

Andujar, 22, has played just seven games in Triple-A, where he batted .308 with a home run, a double and two RBIs. He played 67 games with Double-A Trenton to begin 2017, hitting .312 with seven homers, 23 doubles and 52 RBIs, and said he dreamed about making it to The Show this year.

“I would say it was something I definitely had in my mind,” Andujar said. “You have to be positive. You have to be a positive player, a positive thinker. I definitely thought about it. I’m very happy to be here today.”

There could be more roster moves in the near future. Tyler Austin Personalized 49ers Jersey is experiencing bruising in his right hamstring, according to Girardi, and the disabled list is a consideration. Austin has played four games since being recalled Saturday from Triple-A. Outfielder Dustin Fowler, the Yankees’ No. 8 prospect, was held out of both games on Wednesday with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and could be a candidate to be called up.

“You have to make adjustments,” Girardi said. “I think a lot of times division winners are determined by who survives the injuries the best because it is such a long season, so we’ve got to survive this.”

Bombers bits
• First baseman Chris Carter, who was designated for assignment in a move preceding Austin’s promotion, has accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A.
Men’s Washington Nationals Custom Majestic Alternate Scarlet Flex Base Authentic Red Jersey Carter, 30, hit .204 with eight homers and 23 RBIs in 167 at-bats this year.

• Yankees right-hander Adam Warren threw 20 pitches in a bullpen session on Wednesday and is eyeing a return to the bullpen when the club returns home Monday. Warren, 29, is on the disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.

• Left-hander CC Sabathia is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Thursday. Sabathia, 36, is on Personalized Chargers Jersey the disabled list with a left hamstring strain.

Yankees bring up Personalized Chargers Jersey Tyler Austin from Triple-A

NEW YORK — Shortly Personalized Nationals Jersey after the Yankees won on Friday night, 2-1, in walk-off fashion, first baseman Tyler Austin received a call saying the Yankees were bringing him up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Custom 49ers Jersey. The team designated Chris Carter for assignment.

Austin missed all of Spring Training with a fractured left foot. But with his recent string of success in the Minors and the Yankees’ struggles at first base for much of the season, manager Joe Girardi felt it was the right time to call up the 25-year-old.

“We just felt like it was time,” Girardi said. “Tyler had started to swing the bat well, and it was time to give him an opportunity.”

Austin was batting .300/.366/.560 with four homers and 21 RBIs in 27 games at Personalized Chargers Jersey Triple-A before his promotion. He was in the midst of a hot streak, going 6-for-15 (.400) with three home runs over his last four games.

Still, it was a long road back from injury for the Yankees’ No. 14-rated prospect. He spent a month and a half to two months riding an exercise scooter before he could start running — and his running progression, he said, was “really slow.”

Upon returning to the field, it took Austin a while to get going. He said he felt great defensively, but getting his timing back at the plate took a little while.

Earlier this week, even general manager Brian Cashman said he still thought Carter was the team’s best option at first base — despite his disappointing
Men’s Nike Custom Made San Francisco 49ers Elite Red Team Color NFL Jersey for Sale performance at the dish.

It wasn’t until the last four-game stretch that Austin really got going, with his homers coming in three straight games. He also went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in his most Personalized 49ers Jersey recent contest.

“Going through the injury right before Spring Training started this year was a tough pill to swallow,” Austin said. “It’s just one more thing I had to overcome, and I’m happy to be back.”

Girardi confirmed Austin is the Yankees’ starting first baseman, though that could change when Greg Bird comes back from a right ankle injury, which has sidelined him since the beginning of May. Bird has yet to begin running again after suffering a setback during his Minor League rehabilitation assignment.

Headley says he’s progressing

Third baseman Chase Headley has missed the last two games with back spasms,
Men’s Nike Custom Made San Diego Chargers Elite Navy Blue Team Color NFL Jersey Sale and he was out of the lineup again on Saturday.

However, he is feeling a lot better. Without consulting Girardi or the Yankees’ training staff, he said, he could be back in the lineup as soon as Sunday.

Custom Chargers Jersey “I’m sure I’ll hit in the cage a bit, move around [on Saturday],” Headley told MLB.com. “I would assume if I feel good … [and] I can come out of all that stuff, and feel good … when I wake up, then it’ll be [Sunday], would be my guess.”

Before his back injury, Headley was riding a 15-game on-base streak in which he was batting .313/.444/.417 with eight RBIs.

Yankees beat White Custom 49ers Jersey Sox behind Judge, Andujar

CHICAGO — Masahiro Tanaka won for the first time in nearly two months, Miguel Andujar had a memorable big Custom 49ers Jersey league debut and Aaron Judge shattered yet another Statcast™ mark as the Yankees broke out for a 12-3 victory over the White Sox on Wednesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Tanaka built off one of his best outings of the season with another solid performance, holding the White Sox to two runs over six innings on 101 pitches. He got out of a bases-loaded jam in the second unscathed before allowing a pair of runs in the fifth on Melky Cabrera’s bases-loaded single, but Tanaka rebounded by striking out the side in his final frame.

Full Game Coverage

“I don’t think it’s just these two outings, I think my stuff was getting better a little bit before that,” said Tanaka, who picked up his first victory since May 8 at Cincinnati. “I think I’m getting the results now, and that’s always a good thing.”

New York blew the game open in a five-run sixth inning that included RBI doubles from Tyler Wade — his first career hit — and Ronald Torreyes before Judge launched a two-run laser into the left-field bleachers.

Didi Gregorius added a two-run homer and Andujar smacked a two-run double in the ninth off Michael Ynoa to cap the explosion, handing the White Sox an eighth loss in their last 10 games. Andujar finished with three hits and four RBIs.

“It was awesome, especially Andujar coming up big,” Judge said. “Just incredible. Your first Major League at-bat, you’re coming up bases loaded. He acted like a veteran out there. He seemed like he’d been there before. It’s fun to watch.”

White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon struggled with command in his first outing of the year, walking six and passing Edinson Volquez for the most pitches thrown this season while having more balls than strikes with 41 strikes out of his 93 pitches. Despite Rodon’s erratic performance — including a three-run first inning — he was able to settle in and toss five innings while allowing just three unearned runs.

“Great stuff, great life, but the goal is to put it in the zone and let them swing it to get guys out early,” Rodon said. “That’s not what happened. I’ll get back to that. I was going a little fast in the first, but it was good to be out there. Next time out, it’ll hopefully be a little better. Arm feels good, body feels good, all you can ask for.”

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Off the back foot: Rodon struggled with his command early but could have made it out of the first inning scoreless. After a leadoff walk, Rodon blistered a 95.5 mph fastball past Judge for a strikeout and got Gary Sanchez to fly out to center before inducing what appeared to be an inning-ending grounder to short. White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson’s 18th error — most in the Majors among shortstops — led to a three-run first inning.

“[Rodon] started off a little rough, obviously and got some high pitch counts, and we had the play with Didi that backed up Timmy and he threw it high,” White Sox manager Rick Renteria said. “We just had to get through the inning. Obviously, we gave up three runs in that particular inning.”

All rise in Chicago: Judge expanded on his Major League lead with his 27th home run, a two-run shot in the sixth inning off Jake Petricka that made it 8-2. It had a measured exit velocity of 115.2 mph, marking Judge’s sixth homer of 115 mph or more this season, and served as the perfect response to a loud crew of fans who spent the first five innings razzing the rookie star in right field.

“I just like having some fun with the fans,” Judge said. “They were heckling me pretty good out there. I’m not going to say anything to them, I just gave them a little peek when I was rounding the bases. Just having some fun with them. They were razzing me when I got back out there. It was pretty cool.”

• Cabrera recorded his sixth outfield assist of the season in the third inning, cutting down Chase Headley at the plate after Andujar’s single to end the frame. The throw, tracked at 94.4 mph according to Statcast™, was the second-hardest of his 52 tracked throws this season and his hardest-thrown assist.

• With his fifth-inning walk, Judge became the first Yankees rookie to reach base in 30 consecutive games since Charlie Keller reached in 40 straight in 1939, according to Elias.

ON THE MEND
White Sox right fielder Avisail Custom Nationals Jersey Garcia left in the top of the ninth with left knee soreness, the club announced. He is listed day-to-day and will undergo an MRI on Thursday. Garcia was 0-for-2 with a hit by pitch and a walk before exiting. The 26-year-old was hit on a hand in the fifth inning but remained in the game. While on the basepaths in the seventh, he said he injured himself diving back into first base. Garcia, a likely All-Star, was in the midst of an 0-for-19 and 1-for-23 stretch at the plate.

YOU’RE GONE
Renteria was tossed during a mound visit following Torreyes’ RBI double in the sixth inning, drawing the ire of home-plate umpire Hunter Wendelstedt for arguing balls and strikes. It was Renteria’s Personalized Chargers Jersey fifth ejection of the season and third in six games this homestand, moving him ahead of Marlins skipper Don Mattingly for most among managers this year. It was also the 11th of Renteria’s career. Petricka was ejected while coming off the mound at the end of the inning, his first career ejection. He joined Garcia, Todd Frazier and Anderson as White Sox players with their first career ejections this season.

“There’s really not a whole lot to say, to be honest,” Renteria said. “There wasn’t a lot said. I’m sure I’m going to deal with it here in the next 24 to 48 hours but there wasn’t much said.”

WHAT’S NEXT
Yankees: Luis Cessa (0-2, 6.57 ERA) will make his third start of the year on Thursday as the Yankees and White Sox complete their four-game series at 8:10 p.m. ET. The 25-year-old right-hander struck out a career-high eight in his last
Men’s Nike Custom Made San Francisco 49ers Elite Red Team Color NFL Jersey for Sale start, losing to the Rangers as he permitted three runs on three hits over five innings.

White Sox: James Shields (1-1, 4.26) makes his third start since coming off his first career DL stint due to a strained right lat, and the right-hander is coming off his worst outing of the year. He allowed six runs in a loss to Oakland in his first game of the year with multiple home runs allowed. The series finale is scheduled for
